If you're staying in Scarborough, there is a good English pub in Scarborough called the Stamford Arms. I go there quite a lot.

It is quite a good place with a good range of beers. The only problem is that it does tend to get quite crowded on a Saturday night.

It depends on what night you're going. If it is a weeknight, it isn't open until 3 am. I think it is open until 3 am on Saturday, but obviously if the semi final is at 2:30 am Perth time then you probably won't be able to see it there.

If you're going on a Saturday night (I'm not sure what days the semi finals are on), then they are a bit stricter with dress standards than say on a Friday night. I would just wear decent shoes anyway rather than risk being turned away.

Oh shit, that is bad timing. That would rule out the Stamford Arms. You may be able to see Euro 2004 at a place called Pot Black, but that is all the way in Northbridge (near the city). That place is open til late, even mid-week. I remember I watched a Euro 2000 match there on the early hours of a Thursday morning, so I assume that its opening hours haven't changed.

The only bad thing about that place is that it isn't a proper pub, it's a place where people go to play pool, so it is full of pool tables and small TV sets. Also, the range of booze is small and is quite pricey. Other than that, it is usually fairly quiet and it wasn't that bad watching the game there.
