OK, traditional dull 'n' dreary August Bank holiday, flicking through Freeview and settle on Salvage Hunters for its Brighton theme. And what do we find?
1. Rachel Clark of the shameful West Pier 'Trust' flogging off some original and substantial wrought iron features to a dealer who then shipped it off to the South of France.
2. Jon Barrenechea at the Duke of Yorks flogging off some historical artefacts from the oldest continuously-working cinema in the UK for a pittance to the same bloke because it was-just-sitting-there-gathering-dust-in-a-storeroom.
Expected no less from the continuing disgrace that is the West Pier Trust. But the Duke of York's? Sake!
