Yoda's Speech Pattern

Anyone know about Modus Operandi (or MO?)

It's the way the Police write 'how the criminal did what they did'.. I've just twigged that Yoda's sentence construction is exactly how MO's are written!

"Around the Jedi, a perimeter create"

I'm bored.

It was fizzy cranberry juice.

Take 1 pint glass - half fill with carbonated mineral water, and half with cranberry juice.

Drink away...

Actually, it's the sentence structure of Anglo-Saxon. The standard SVO structure we have now is a result of the large shifts that took place in the development of Middle English.

Thanks for that, but I preferred my theory.
