It is not apparently pay on the gate now and the club are advising us to purchase tickets in advance.

From what I remember last time the away end is spilt right down the middle. Tickets one side, cash the other.

I sat where I liked last time (in the tickets section).

We sat "where we liked at Reading", but some anal fan came along and made us move.

Watford fan at my office says it does have a roof, but prevailing winds/rain make front seats to be avoided! Showers forecast tomorrow.

When the stand is reasonably full, try using a bit of sense and sit where allocated, otherwise late arrivals end up unable to sit together despite having adjacent tickets. Might not bother you, but do you want to look after my kids coz I've got to sit somewhere else?

When the away end is plenty big enough (like at Leicester) then sitting where you like is fine.

Edit:

Mind you, the ticket office could help with junior tickets. At Grimsby, we were allocated seats right in the centre near the back. Like my 7 year old's going to see from there with everyone standing up (though, he was 5 at the time, I guess!).
