I was wondering if you could tell me a little bit more about a season ticket, as i'm thinking of getting one for the first time next season.

How much are they?
When do they go on sale/Where do i get them from?
Do I have the same seat all season?
Are there any extras that come with it?
Will I have to be quick off the mark to get a decent one?

And anything else that you think I should know, please let me know.

Cheers guys!

Won't be announced for a while, existing season ticket holders get a chance first to renew their seat at a small discount.. and then it's free for all.

Yep, existing season ticket holders will have to pay for theirs, but new season ticket holders will get one free - In fact the club will pay them to take it off their hands.

The last bit was a joke.

You also have the right to whinge about everything that is BHAFC and slag of those cherry pickers who only do the odd game.

Save your money and go to the away games would be my advice.

It also gives you the right to grumble when you don't get a ticket for the glamour tie in the fourth round of the FA Cup, however we avoided that this season by opting out at the third round stage.

...and watch the club die.

lots of people moan about home matches, mainly the ones who have "other things to do but would go if we had a decent stadium", who justify their non attendance by "it's crap", "I'm not getting soaked", "the standard is so poor", "I'm not watching pro football at an athletics track", etc, etc.

I look forward to every match, I enjoy: watching my team, meeting friends, the piss takes, people watching, hurling abuse at the linesman and opponents, telling Wilkins and anyone who will listen where we are going wrong, laughing at White and Chapman, celebrating goals, recognising an opponent from another team, asking the person sitting next to me what happened, seeing then forgetting an incident (and remembering it that night), having a drink before, speaking to people I would only ever meet or speak to at matches, wondering if the bloke wearing a suit is important, moaning about Withdean.

I went to every match when we were winning leagues, doing well, had Zamora, Sidwell, Ingermarsson, etc and I go to every match now. Why not? It's what I do on Saturdays. I don't find it hard supporting the Albion because it's my team.

So many "fans" flocked to that "crap" stadium when we were doing well.

If you can afford it get a season ticket, help the club and enjoy it.

As a season ticket holder you become: a fantastic player (in theory), a master tactician (but are never tested), an expert on injuries (but are never asked), someone in the know (but no-one ever follows up your gossip), a financial wizard (but broke), the occupier of the same "good seat" (but need binoculars and a poncho), on nodding terms with Dick Knight (but he doesn't know you), and most importantly "the lifeblood of the club in the Summer months" (true),

There's been some excellent posts on NSC today. The above is a prime example.
