Season ticket initiatives for next season

The club are due unveil next week season ticket pricing initiatives for Withdean, designed to win back lost generations of supporters.

This is obviously such a big issue, given recent attendances.

One possibility would be a significant reduction of a second season ticket for a child / concession to help bring in the next generation

But what would you like/expect to be done for next season?

You could give the fuckers away for free and you still wouldn't get any takers to see the shit thats been dished up at Withdean for the last 2 seasons.
The best initiative to sell tickets is some entertaining football and not trying to play out for time after 75 mins to hold a 1-0 lead :angry::angry:

That's clearly not true seeing as though the prices were merely dropped for the Gills game and we had a virtual sellout almost a week before the game.

Club should learn the problem is Withdean and until that changes fans are not really bothered about home games.

That's a great point. I am getting a season ticket next season and will get one even if we played in a WORSE ground than Withdean. My point is, the people who will get one next season are the people that will get one regardless of the situation/ground etc so these initiatives will only entice the small number over and above these people who will get one anyway.

You are left with the die-hard fans now at Withdean who will put up with anything no matter what I am afraid, the rest have voted with their feet.

Well there will be some Falmer initiatives which will bring back a fair few season ticket holders I would imagine.

I was thinking the same. Maybe not so much next season, but the following (sceduled last season at Withdean.)

The first allocation of season tickets for Falmer will obviously be to current season ticket holders. Anyone could get a season ticket at Falmer but with regards to positioning in the ground, first refusal will go to STH.

With this in mind, and also it being at last the final season at withdean, can we expect a bit of a bumper season for attendances?

The Gills game sold out before CHRISTMAS! But the team were in good form then and it was the weekend before xmas so it waqs always going to be a bumper gate.

I bet it wouldnt be a sell out if the game had been scheduled originally for tuesday, even with the £10 prices.
