As apple don't have an agreement with Addobe hence no bloody flash player, does anyone know how to view seagulls player through an app or any other way?

photon web browser has a 'turn on flash mode' which lets you view any site with flash. I tried it a couple of times with commentary using seagulls player and it worked.

Apologies in advance, as I am quite the luddite.

Is this photon thingamebob an alternative to Safari, but within which I can surf the web on my iPad and access flash content?

Is it this one, just sits waiting and won't download. How come apple are okay with this, do they have no say over apps.

Apple don't want Flash running on iDevices as they perceive it to be buggy, bloaty, insecure and not open.

Photon, and similar, get round this by running the Flash content on their servers and then streaming it to you in an iFriendly way. As such, Apple are cool as the iDevice is not running Flash itself.

You've also got skyfire which does exactly the same as photon

Never managed to get mine working for Seagulls player. Other flash yes but not that. I currently have one of the skyfire guys looking into it.

what about on the Android?

Android is open to all manner of security vulnerabilities, largely due to the unregulated Wild West that Google has allowed the Android Store to be. As such, Google also has no issue with Flash running natively. I would imagine you should be able to use Seagulls Player through whatever browser(s) come with your phone.

Good luck.
