Christian Walton is back with Albion ahead of a possible third loan spell away from the club this season.
The England under-21s goalkeeper has returned from a stint with home town club Plymouth Argyle.
Walton played four times for Argyle after first choice Luke McCormick suffered a groin injury in November.
McCormick returned to action last month, so Walton ended his temporary move to Home Park as an unused substitute for four games.
The 20-year-old had a loan spell with Bury earlier in the season cut short by injury.
David Stockdale and Niki Maenpaa are ahead of him in the pecking order, leaving Albion the option of loaning Walton out again during the January transfer window to gain more experience.
Maenpaa, who had an outing in the under-21s as an over-age player at West Ham last night, could replace Stockdale in Saturday’s FA Cup third round tie at Hull.
The Finland international was beaten twice by headers from Djair Parfitt-Williams and Reece Oxford – both from Alex Song free kicks – as the development squad went down 2-0 against the Hammers.
Utility prospect Glen Rea, also back with Albion from a loan spell at Southend, is ineligible for the Hull tie after featuring in the FA Cup for the Shrimpers in their exit from the competition at Scunthorpe United in November. Albion under-21s: Maenpaa, Hunt, Barnett, Collar, Barclay, Dallison, Monakana, Hutchinson, Akindayini, Harper, Tilley. Subs: Harris, Vose, Molumby, Deen, Marguire-Drew.
