To engrossed in the Pompey game, his 6 year old brother wanted to come down from his bedroom and play as well - and got an ear full from his mother

I used to play against someone who had virtually memorized the official scrabble dictionary, and had an annoying habit of putting down down a couple of letters and getting "qi" "la" "au" and various other stupid "words" denoting various chinese mountain goats and the like and getting about 100 points ...
