Schools adopting players

On a couple of occasions, I've seen in the Argus about schools 'adopting' a player who then becomes involved in doing activities at that school. I asked the teacher in charge of football at my children's school (Coldean Primary) about it and he hadn't heard of it. Is there a formal way of approaching the club about adopting a player? We're probably the closest junior school to Falmer so there are lots of young minds to cultivate.

Yes, contact Matt Hicks via the club for information for next season. Just as an aside, the 25 schools who were selected this year were done so to give a good spread across Sussex, and most were schools we already had a existing rapport with.
