SC is in argus this morning talking about central midfield, apparently he's happy (!), if so he's the only one who is, says that any 2 from 3 (Oatway,Rodger & Carpenter) will do for him. Everyone else seems to agree that midfield is the problem, Rodger no legs, Oatway no brains, what we need is
someone in the middle to get up and down, box to box, help the defence and also help attack, create a bit and score a few goals, a warren Asprinal a Dean Wilkins a playmaker someone that can actually pass the ball with accuracy over distance. Rodger & the clown Oatway- theyre clearly not up to it, means if SC is happy then clearly he has lost it big time and its time Silent got a new Manager in.

I have no idea what you said but on Saturday our midfield seemed to click for the first time and the fact that Knight praised the service he got must show that its finally sorting itself out.

Hart is starting to look more dangerous as well now that Hinsh is settling into his right back role and it allows OGH to get forward and nearer the goal where he is at his best.

Oatway is a battler and i think does more than people notice in terms of slowing down opposition attacks and alloxing the defence to get back into a solid position.

Rodger looks fit again and played a very good game against Wendy spreading the play nicely and keeping it calm.

Jonesy will always look dangerous on the back and will play havoc with some fullbacks this season, btw is it me ot has he learnt to cross the ball?

Chippy came on and looked good as well.

I don't think there is a lot to worry aboutm, we are just starting to get into our stride.

If we play we did on saturday we are fine, if we play like we have this seaosn we need someone, my worry is we only have three players he is happy with so that means one injury and a susension and we are proper f***ed. An extra quality midfielder would boost the squad and also mena that the players have to play harder to keep their place.

I have no idea what you said but we keep playing the ball to a height beyond our out and out striker bein the smallest on the pitch and we cannot pass with accuracy over any reasonable idstance with the ball on the ground, this therefore has limited play options makes us predictable and the likes of Oatway looking a complete clown the circus act is completed by players like Rodger than was hopeless with his corners on Saturday and if Jones ever looked dangerous id streak across the pitch with a banner proclaiming Silent to be on the brink of securing a new purpose built football stadium home for the club. Carpenter is ok buts thats all ok we can't win the league on that basis.!

never mind short corner short players short strikers never work they are too short and have limited ability as a result its beginning to show thaough in his (leon) defence we aint helping him with long humping high balls!

Will you be on NSC in the middle of November?
Maybe we can put you and your nonsence to bed once and for all?
