Wycombe have had a bad start, but it still seems a little early to have sacked him.

Fairly predictable, given Wycombes results so far this season.

When do we get to play some crap teams ? Chesterfield apart, we've only been playing teams in the top half. Its high time we walloped someone, and showed this division the TRUE power of the Albion....

It is a rule among journalists that every single former player of the manager-less club in question - in this case, Reading - still in the game MUST be mentioned as a candidate for the job. Lawrie Sanchez was never in serious contention.

I do feel sorry for Lawrie though. He has done well to keep Wycombe in Division 2 for so long on such a tiny budget (and comfortably in mid-table for most of the time). A manager Brighton should bear in mind when the notoriously disloyal Coppell goes.

By the way, my son plays in the same under-9 team as Lawrie's boy. How's that for a pathetic claim to fame!
