VegasSeagull says...
Ok so Sami has fallen on his sword so what will change over the coming five or six matches? Bruno will certainly miss three of them, those that couldn't hit the back of the net when given the chance to do so will still be with us. Having too many players on loan will still be an issue, unless we are going shopping come January, but wouldn't we have done that anyway? Players that lack pace will still lack pace and those without creativity won't suddenly find some.I guess the only change that is pretty much predictable is that we will revert to a traditional 4-4-2 line up when playing at home and a single striker when away. Some will like that, others will say it's, 'boring,' just as they did last season.
Sami should have stayed and Bloom should have supported him in the January market. I say that simply because I think it will be very hard to persuade a top guy to join us and if we don't, then what will we have gained by losing Hyypia.
