Only partly a lol. I knew someone who had to go back and fight for Iran in the war with Iraq. Never did hear if he survived.

I dont think the war would be a problem as Ali is also a Dutch citizen while Saman is a Swedish citizen.
Edit- Apparently we were after him last year alongside West Ham, Swansea ( The player/coach connection) Leicester city and Man city were also monitoring him.

I think you underestimate the loyalty that Iranians feel for their country. They may not HAVE to go back but that might not mean they wouldn't want to go back and fight for their families.
