History shows that the Russian authorities have a complete disregard for human life, including their own citizens, so I’m not sure they’ll be too bothered about this - other than it looks a bit embarrassing for them (again).

Serbia would be insane to take on NATO in Kosovo. But you never can tell.

Much of the political right across the western world is in thrall to the Kremlin, it’s a scandal which too many have ignored for too long

Looks like the dollar v rubel will hit 100 again soon. When it went to 1 dollar for 100 rubels about 1 month ago, the interest rate was put up 3.5%. Interesting to see what they can do this time, but the Russian economy is struggling.

I know this doesn’t make the optics look good re western solidarity, but in practice does Slovakia have much to give?

I think he said military aid has stopped but humanitarian aid will continue...unless he's changed that statement. I'm not defending him!!
