Sun newspaper editor Rebekah Wade has been arrested for allegedly assaulting her actor husband Ross Kemp, the star of the BBC TV soap EastEnders.
Scotland Yard said police were called to an address in south London at about 0400 GMT on Thursday.

"A woman was arrested for an alleged assault on a man. She is now in custody at a south London police station," a spokesman said.

Mr Kemp recently returned to EastEnders after leaving in 1999 to join ITV.

And it's still not got a mention on thesun.co.uk - I wonder why their balanced reporting doesn't run to hounding one of their own? I hope they are out at the moment collecting quotes, rummaging through bins or otherwise fabricating information for their readers tomorrow.

There are no charges being brought, but I wonder how they are going to report this one? Many victims of domestic assault never report their spouses - is Ross frightened of her? Is it a regular thing, her coming home after a few beers and slapping him around?

Apparently she had been out on the piss with Blunkett, and as she came in she heard him shouting "Oh yes, that's well 'ard". Thinking her luck was in, she ran into the bedroom, where she found him crouched over the alsation from Eastenders, when she promptly smacked him in the mush.
