Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It was pretty clear from day one that he was going to struggle. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. Always difficult to rebuild a team, but we have gone backwards under him.

Appoint Johnno (Not Andrew!) - You know it makes sense.

About time. Let's hope it's not too late for the World Cup !!!!!

I'd rather stick with McClaren if we have to have someone.

Nice guy, fine player in his day. Will be remembered as a great coach (2003 World Champs) but as a manager couldn't cope with the growing pains of professionalism of English rugby. The problems run much deeper than him, as you will see the next manager. 2007 World Cup is already looking a write-off, must build for 2011.

I'm no expert but wasn't that Clive Woodward?

Woodward was the manager, had an "overseeing" role a little bit removed from the players, Robbo did all the real coaching work.

Harsh! :lolol: Poor old Robbo, looks like first draft of history is going to remember you as a total failure, rather than as a key part of the greatest success English rugby has had for 140 years. Thems the breaks I guess.
