£101 ROAD TAX

Nearly Two hundred quid paid to these robbers before I paid for the parts and labour on my car.

I did not realise MOT was now £46.00 quid, but at least they don't charge VAT on the MOT.

43% of my Bill has been paid to the goverment.

I hate to burst this myth that's been building up about motorists being over-taxed, but the cost of motoring has decreased in real terms over the years, in contrast with the cost of using public transport.

And I think we all know which of the two actually needs encouraging, for all sorts of reasons ...

Yep. And what's more, the latest survey that pointed this out was from that well-known anti-car organisation, the RAC

Just get a leccy car - far cheaper and more economical

untill they are mainstream and taxed. will happen enventually, thats what behind road pricing.
