RIP Jeff Healey

Jeff Healey died today in Toronto from cancer aged 41.

Jeff's dad and stepmum are members of one of my congregations and Bud Healey recently gave me a tour of their own personal 'hall of fame,' which was very impressive. Jeff had inoperable cancer but spent the last few weeks receiving alternative therapies in Nevada.

Typical shoddy journalism on the Beeb website: "died of retinoblastoma." That would be cancer of the retina. Since Jeff had one eyeball removed when he was 6 months and the other at 11 months, that would be most unlikely!
