Worthing
Sorry, I think I might have the wrong person. I know there was someone called Cyanide Sid who sat behind me at Withdean but I don't think he was a wrestler. Apologies for any offence.

Hi Cheshunt………I am very much alive still………. I remember you sitting in front of me at Withdean…. You used to travel down to every game didn’t you ? I always wanted to hear my epitaphs.

Are you saying that the wrestling was staged and rehearsed?
Kent Walton seemed so convincing in his commentary, grapple fans.
If it was staged then surely Kendo would have had his mask removed but it only ever got to his nose.
If you are right this is very upsetting.

Kendo Nagasaki (Peter Thornley) was indeed unmasked.

"Thornley wore a mask for most of his career, the one significant exception being several months following a December 1977 televised voluntary unmasking ceremony."

This absolutely bombed with the crowd though, as a pasty out of shape white dude isn't quite as interesting as a magical mystical ninja from "the Orient".
