I have decided to stop hiding my true feelings and announce that.................................................................................................................... I think Nathan Jones is one of our better players and one of my favourites. He is so underrated by everyone in Withdean. They are all waiting for him to do something slightly wrong so they can jump on his back, losers! They almost enjoy it when he does do something wrong because it makes them feel good to have a go. Great cross with his wrong foot today for leon's goal and I thought a good performance generally from the lad. He always puts the effort in and NEVER hides in games like Brooker, amongst others, used to. He is always trying something and sometimes it doesn't come off but at least he is trying. I am VERY pleased he has a new contract. I would rather have him in my team than Paul Brooker everytime.

Who's with me?!

Not quite - he tends to deliver some great stuff and some appaling stuff - depends which Nathan turns up.

I think I might be more inclined to agree if your post wasn't a metre wide!!

yeah mate , i'm on the side off jonah but agree with Mr Hut , he puts in some brilliant performance (usually at withdean) and some quite dire performance . but i agree people are to quck to get on his back i think

Genius! Although he can be utterly infuriating, he always gives 100%, genuinally cares about the club, and has contributed a fair number of assists

He's an alright squad player - just unlucky that we're so desperate for a really good winger that he can't quite live up to expectations.

Spot on. I couldn't believe the cheer that went up when he was subbed last month.

90% of the time I'm afraid Jones is absolutely dire. The one thing he did right today was the cross for the first goal, but there were several other very promising situations that went begging today once the ball arrived at the feet of Jones.

Can't fault him for effort, and again he provided the pass for one of the goals, but I can't remember the last time he actually had a good game for us. Two passes a game is not really enough of a return, but unfortunately we don't have many options there.

The key thing is that McGhee has kept faith with him. Whether we do is of lesser importance, although McGhee's match programme comments about negative comments have to be taken on board.

McGhee's choice of picking a workhorse capable of feeding long balls into our strikers has paid off over playing a more skillful passing player like Piercy. McGhee deserves the applause, because he would have certainly got the stick if it hadn't worked.

Typical winger in and out of the game, infuriates, then delivers a perfect cross with his wrong foot. But we seemed to miss him when he didn't play.
