I saw the North Stand with no roof or crush barries and the West Stand getting torn down, so sadly for me it's truely no longer there... Saying that, I'm yet to see the Toys 'R' Us or Burger King, so it will always remain our spiritual home. I still believe we should get some kind of memorial plaque or stone or something, anything to commemorate the near hundred years we played there. As it stands there's nothing to suggest there was ever a football ground there.
I went to Burger King there once on on the way out, scoffing my chips drove in the back of someone - must have been my come uppence - only saving grace being i was in an Uno and it was a Volvo estate i went into so i didn't damage the blokes car, only my front bumper was cracked.
