Idea: If possible, why not play the reserves against Huddersfield so we can see the first team in action against Eastbourne Town at the first Amex game. (if we win the semi!)??

No way. Let the reserves have the honour of playing there first.

it depends on whether Huddersfield have anything to play for. If so, then the club are obliged under league rules to field their strongest possible team. We could get into hot water with the league and the FA if we send out what could be considered to be an understrength team if Huddersfield need to win to gain automatic promotion or a play-off spot.

If Huddersfield need a point to keep saints down. Even more reason???

Don't understand the logic. Explain?

As the Cup final will be part of last seasons competition any player that doesn't start the last game for the first team can be selected to play in the next reserve game.
if my memory serves me right. Unless the rules have changed? Mind you I do have Alzhiemers!

I don't think for minute GP will want to give Huddersfield an easy time given Clark's theatrics up there after the game. Factor in also the utter cr&p their fans have spouted about GP on their boards.

Pretty sure that this rule does not exist, but even if for argument's sake, we pretend it does, the Huddersfield match is NOT the LAST game of the season anyway!...

as supaseagull said we could get fined or pointss taken off us if we do not field a stronge team we can field one or 2 weaker / youth players thats ok but to field a full team of youth and reserve players if just asking for trouble with the fa plus our target of 100+ points
