Proud to have raised a bit of that terrific total, and had a couple of fantastic moments in return.

Leading the Albion side out, and scoring the winning penalty in the 2013 game, at Lewes

1:40 here,

And then the MASSIVE honour of getting to play at the Amex in this one. Thanks for the opportunities, to all who made it happen :clap2:

a Leftie. Nice pen, better than Kanes against France.

NSC's finest moment.

And my proudest one to play in REMF 1.

Let's give it the sendoff it so richly deserves by having a huge turnout for the last one.
As one of your fellow players in REMF 1 I totally agree. Let's all try and make it (I realise I said this last year and family matters got in the way, but this year it is special)

Agree 100% I'm surprised Tim hasn't hijacked this thread mentioning his goals.

It would be great to get a reunion for all that played in the first game and as you say have a great turnout for the last one :drink:

Would a commemorative book be appropriate to draw a final line under this fantastic charity that has touched the lives of so many people?

Absolutely incredible from all involved. I was in NYC on 9/11 but fate was kinder to me as I was at a meeting in Midtown in the morning, with a planned meeting at WTC (7) in the afternoon. Been back many times since and always have to visit the memorial - it has been highly emotional watching the area change over the years and the visits are always difficult. Hope the family are suitably proud of his legacy and gain some comfort from the fantastic work done in his memory.

Well done all.

The cycle ride from Selhurst to the Amex in 2013 will live long in the memory. I remember cycling down alongside the Five Year Plan boys from Palace and @Motogull @Bold Seagull and @Pogue Mahone. Also remember having to encourage a somewhat I’ll prepared @Uncle Spielberg who, hats off, made it all the way.

Motogull was somewhat disappointed that I didn’t look like Eric Morecambe.

Amazing legacy for REMF. I’m in awe of the organizers. Chapeau.

The REMF has been wonderful.

You have belittled our cycle a little, Hamilton - it was Amex to Selhurst and back to the Amex! Great memories.

I also visited the 9/11 Memorial and found Robert’s name, which was incredibly emotional.

From an Eagle, many congratulations on a wonderful job done and a fabulous achievement over so many years. Everyone concerned with raising so much money for such worthwhile causes can be very proud of themselves. Personally I will miss it and the chance to share a pint and a chat with so many decent likeminded Brighton fans. It is great that much respected foe Ricky Marlowe and Peter Ward have supported it throughout. I look forward to coming down one more time to raise a glass to the memory of Robert Eaton.

Brighton factually.....
An amazing charity that has brought so much light to so many from a place of darkness.
Well done to everyone involved, you should all be so proud of yourselves, achieving such a staggering amount and helping so many.
:salute:

Also a massive amount of respect to the Palace contingent who have also played an important part of the fundraising, and proves football is not just tribalistic but also about community and a shared love of the game and our fellow supporters.

Hopefully the club can step forward for the final game and push, something special would obviously be appreciated by everyone involved.

Didn’t we meet up at the Amex at 05.30 to get to Selhurst? Reckon the only reason we were late is Brett M had been out on the lash and hadn’t really slept. Was that really a decade ago!!??

And not forgetting @Stat Brother was there both legs @Hamilton :)

Our local youth football club was a beneficiary of an REMF donation. It made a meaningful difference to the welfare of the club and I’m sure others will say the same. Well done and thank you.
