Just a thread to say well done to Brett, Richie, Andy, all the players, Al, Roz for the fabulous website and everyone who is working so hard to make this one the best yet.

To break through £ 4000 raised with 2 weeks to go is absolutely unbelievable.

Last year REMF 8 raised £ 7000 the most successful event since REMF 1 in November 2001.

Lets go for £ 10000. Together we CAN do it.

:clap2::clap2:

I thought because it was a 'closed shop' nobody was putting enough effort in or raising much? :jester:

You can't have paid much attention to what was written then - most discussions focused on the selection process of the team, not fundraising efforts that sit outside the match itself.

Brett's fundraising efforts have been nothing short of absolutely bloody amazing - truly heroic. But, let's be clear, a raffle for a tour of Falmer (for example) has nothing to do with players raising sponsorship nor the match itself.

I'm sure the players are doing all they can to raise as much sponsorship as possible.

Also heartening to hear the "we'll f***ing show them and raise more than ever" whispers in the background. Seems it acted as a great incentive.

Please change the record Bozza.
