Why? Do you dream of occasions like at the Cardiff-Reading game the other week, when the referee and the sub referee both go down injured, and the call goes out over the PA system

"would any overweight middle aged men with severely deteriorating eyesight please make yourself known to the nearest steward"

;) :lolol:

I think the whole of Block D are qualified referee's.
At least I think most of them think they are.

:D

Quite right too.

Although in Prosser's case, and a few others, I think D Block would do a better job.

There's something vaguely unnatural and disconcerting about having a picture of David Elleray as your avatar. I'm not at all comfortable with it.

Overweight, middle aged with severely deteriorating eyesight,
well I hope I never get like that, I'm only 25!!:bigwave: :bigwave:

I saw the high lights of the cardiff v reading game & 3 different ref's in one game was a joke. The FA would have given the two unfit referees a wright B:censored:ing

I just hope that one day I get the chance to ref a home game for Brighton at Falmer:angel: :)

If you're an Albion fan, then so do I.

Was going to say exactly the same thing!

Alton, if you're after a refereeing role model as your avatar, how about everybody's good friend Mr Prosser?

Believe it or not, Harty used to ref in the local leagues in Worthing and I have to admit that he was actually quite good!!!

Edna, please don't encourage that !

It means I would have to physically restrain myself from hurling my expensive cream donuts at the monitor every time I caught sight of that fool. I stupidly clicked on the link you provided, and ended up crushing one of them to a pulp in my (now) sticky fist.

Hot drinks etc could end up being dangerous.
