Reading
Does give me a bit of a dilemma this, as I live in the Wokingham district. It would not bother me whether Reading get extra seats and with what is going on with Brighton I should back their corner.

But I hate Reading with a passion so it made me :lolol:

It's not as if they will go out of buisness if they don't get them, is it.

They will get them though, Majedski doesn't seem to have problems pushing things through. The advantage of having a stinking rich chairman with clout I guess

"Council opposes stadium expansion

Plans to enlarge the Madejski Stadium, home to Premiership Reading Football Club and London Irish RFC, have hit a stumbling block.
Royals' bosses want to expand after a strong first season in the Premiership.

But Wokingham Borough Council has raised formal objections to increasing the stadium capacity from 24,000 up to 38,000 seats."

. . . . . . and the Political hue of Wokingham Borough Council, or do we not need to ask?

The proper London Irish play in Sunbury. The team that plays in Reading is the result of a merger between London Irish, London Scottish and Richmond that obliterated years of rugby history in one fell swoop and is the rugby equivalent of MK Dons.

No offence intended, though :)
