Does anyone know if there will be any pay on the gate at Reading on Boxing Day?.......there is a 50/50 chance I might be able to get the afternoon off. I've missed the last postage day, and I won't be driving from mid-Wales to pick up a ticket from Brighton.

Any ideas?

I was wondering this.

Hopefully we will have a large following that day. I might be wrong but I'm sure I heard a report that West Ham took over 6,000 there last week, be good if we could get near to that figure for a relatively local, holiday game. It would probably double their attendance!

Thats impossible as the awayend at most holds 4200ish

It's not really an away end. As all the stands are actually connected they can give the away team as many as they need.

No club will get more than that 4200 odd end of as reading have season ticket holders in all other area's.

I bought my ticket today and it sounded like there were loads left due to the extended allocation, BUT........

Some clubs just do not do pay-on-the-gate as an option. Best to ring Reading, mate.
