I'd be more worried if they stopped flying over, nothing new.

There are some great photos out there of them looking at us looking at them in the 70s and 80s.

I think you will find that overflying Russia is the Septics job.

That was why Russia built plywood airbases and missile launchers during the Cold War, to try and kid the reconnaissance aircraft, they had more firepower than thought.

I think you will find that overflying Russia is the Septics job.

Overflying territorial airspace is a whole different league from flying in international airspace but close (not that close, tbh) to the boundary of territorial.

It’s like an unofficial war game - “how fast do you see us and get something up to intercept?” The pilots have been known to wave to each other. Nothing to see here.
