It's brilliant listening. Mark Saggers (doing Sport on 5 in the Sussex Cricketer) is doing all sorts of interviews and can barely make himself heard. Just had to break off a discussion with a Daily Mail journalist about Arsene Wenger, drowned out by a chorus of 'Sussex by the Sea', and then a huge chant of 'We Hate Palace'. Gary Stevens is getting his name sung, supposed to be doing a Premiership preview, but he's going to struggle.

I hate to think what the broadcasting conditions are going to be like when the team reenter the pub before 9pm.

Everyone who was there - give yourselves a big pat on the back.

Sounds like marvellous scenes. One of the local TV stations wasn’t as good, as I remember the fans beginning to sing ‘Good old Sussex by the sea’ and then the stupid Hampshire based station went to a video VT of Pompey. Grr.
