We were having a discussion at work yesterday about the state of English football (as you do) and someone asked a question that none of us knew the answer to. I'll see if the collective wisdom of NSC does.
The question? When was the last time that the starting line-up for a game in the top division consisted of 22 Englishmen? We were sure that this would go back to Football League Division One days and, given the number of Scotsmen around then, we might have to go some way back (it was a Scot who asked the question BTW).
