I may be unduly swayed by some of the crackers from the last few weeks, but does anyone else think we've scored a higher quality of goal this season than maybe ever before?
Some of the team goals have been exceptional, we've been great at 6-yard box opportunist strikes, and some of our long range howitzers have been real belters (Gomez, Baleba and Ayari in just the last few weeks).

If anyone fancies putting together a video of some of the best, here are a few categories I'd suggest:

Passing perfection
Long range belters
6-yard box poaching
Mitoma magic (he deserves his own category)

Any others?

Yes. Probably 15 of our best ever 50 goals were scored this season.
We may look back on 24/5 and regard it as the season we crossed the Rubicon.

Being a good technical player who’s comfortable on the ball is a key part of our recruitment and we’ve honestly scored some bangers under every coach. The “Brighton or Brazil” goal at Stoke and the two Izquerirdo goals against West Ham under Hoots. The best goal that never counted by Ali Mac under Potter and some great team goals when they did go in.

Mitoma’s solo effort at Wolves and Enciso at Chelsea under RDZ and, of course, the Puskas nominated goal against City. And, as the OP says, some absolute crackers this season including Goal of the Season on MotD

All hail the algo!

I actually thought O'Riley's pen was just as good as any of Pedro's pens.
It was a very decent pen. Pedro has this unbelievable ability to send the keeper the wrong way, but O'Riley's one yesterday is the type of pen keepers dont save even if they do read it. Right into the corner with a lot of power.

I still have Baleba's goal in the League cup against Wolves as one of the best this season.

The way he won the ball, got into position and scored from a very long way out had it all.
