I wasn't there today so can someone explain how Mike Riley can run 90 minutes of closely-fought, semi-derby football without the help of a yellow card when all the other toss-pots we come across are waving them around like they're marshalling a Grand Prix? Can we have him every week, please?

Thanks. Thought so. So isn't it time for a bit of Payer Power to persuade to FA (or whoever) to give their less competent Refs some other remedy - may be a 'sin bin' - before reaching for a yellow card? At the moment, the two-slips-and-you're-off system too often ruins a match for +/- 20 thousand people who've travelled miles and paid lots to see a contest - Reading at the MadStad being a good example. For the sake of the people who pay to watch, players shouldn't be sent off unless they've done something life-threatening...?
