Two years ago I ended up in a boozer on the waterfront
not far from the BC ground - it had a small yachting
lake on the water at its front - but can't for the life
of me remember its bloody name? It had a patio
in front. There was loads of Albion in there that
day.

Can anyone enlghten me?

I'm bringing along a load of mates - some of whom are
making their own way there....I'm local arrangements
chair.

It was right towards the end of the harbour thing.

Cheers

Back in Sussex
The Pump House and The Cottage are opposite each other on the water a short walk to Ashton Gate.

I made the mistake of drinking in town before the game last time and left it a tad late to get a taxi. ended up having to get a bus that went roughly near the ground and ran the rest of the way.

This year I think I'll be selecting a more convienient pub!

Where To Drink?
Derek Hall a visiting Hartlepool fan informs me: 'The Robins pub is definitely the best pub for away fans. It is very friendly and is situated only a few minutes walk away from the away end'. Whilst Alex Webber recommends the Pumphouse and the Nova Scotia for away supporters by the waterfront, but adds that the pubs nearer the ground such as the Hen & Chicken, The Wedlocks and The Rising Sun should however be given a wide berth. Please note that alcohol is not available to away fans inside the ground.
