We should have this as a permanent link for away games

www.footballgroundguide.co.uk

Says no pubs in the immediate vicinity. There a couple recommended a couple of miles away.

There are bars in the ground however, home and away end.

A rare luxury and probably more expensive but "needs must when the devil vomits in your kettle".

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
When you aproach the ground off the A6 go over a bridge and take the first left into Irthingboro just opposite the car park for Nene Park. Go past a ford franchise on the left and there is a pub about half a mile up the hill.
Cant remember the name of it but it is also the road that most fans park on when the official car park is full.

P.S. Safeway, dont you owe me a pint ?!!!

There are no pubs nearby apparently. Sounds like the place is on a bit of an industrial estate.

Irthlingborough is, I'm told, smaller than Burgess Hill (and probably about as exciting). So not much hope of a big sesson beforehand. Just have to go in the ground earlyand sing ourselves hoarse instead.

Myself and two others will be in wellinborough at 4:30ish. Will there be anyone else there by then? Or is everyone going to irthingblahblahblah, or the ground? Will the ground be open at 4:30?

ground straight from work for me, for a couple of brews before the game. First game for a month, beginning to suffer from withdrawal symptoms

I've got a half day's holiday booked, so should be here in time for a couple of orange juices! I've just checked out how far it is, another very late night. Em wanted to come with me, but I've had to turn her down, so I'll be the one on my own!
