me mate sent me this - he went saturday:
If You have the south end of the stadium and the city - , if you're going by train you'll be able to use all the pubs opposite the station to the left (we used Bar Risa).
The opposite end on Saturday had all the pubs to the right (we went in the City Arms before and Old Orleans after) the one's by the ground (Yates's and Weatherspoons) were solid.
Warning: The Prince of Wales is suposed to be the Soul Crew's boozer (close to the station). But Man Utd took over it on Saturday.
.
Goes without saying all drinks served in plastic glasses
They weren't even selling alcoholic drinks in the ground at halftime (don't think this is the norm though so you should be alrite).
I wouldn't chance a beer in the ground before kick off. We got in the ground at about 2:20 thinking we'd have a quick pint but no chance (queues).
