Went in a pub in Penge before the Palace game. Mate bought the first round of 3 pints and the bill was about £7. We thought he'd only been charged for one pint. I bought the second round, 2 pints and a half........£ 6.70............

Most pubs round me are £5.50 a pint for bitter, although several offer regulars a healthy discount. As an example, I pay £3.90 in my local but the published price is £5.60.

Arundel is Neck Oil £6.20, there's a Harvey's at £5.25, most reasonable lagers are around £5.40. The football club is much cheaper but these are average town prices.

My local is £4.80 for cider and weaker lager, Madri or Moretti is £5.50 I think. No idea on the ales and bitters.

The men's club down the road is £3.50 for a pint of Appleshed cider, but it's members only and am currently on the waiting list.

Considering a pint is £4.80 but I can walk into Tesco and buy 18 cans for at most £13 is beginning to seriously make me question how much I visit the pub nowadays.
