What a surprise, the overpaid mercenaries - who are being openly booed and mocked by their own "fans" every match - are in absolute free-fall. Horrible club, awful fans. They're in a right mess.

In the farmers league, with a squad earning in a month every other club's entire yearly spend combined. Crashing out of the CL, being heckled by their own supporters even when winning. Manager about to be sacked. I'd call that free-fall, particularly when relative to their aspirations.
We were an Everton victory away from seeing three awful sporting entities in red and blue getting their comeuppance this weekend then?
