Off topic but advice please.

Do PS2 games purchased in the USA work on PS2s over here ?

Mother-in-law is off to the states shortly and was going to get a couple of games as they are cheaper.

Anyone know ?

My son says they are different. Although you can get your console chipped to make it multi-regional (He works at The Game)

you can buy a disc that makes your ps2 multi reigon (its about £29 but worth it)

i almost brought one in states as so cheap however was told they dont work
