Just what do they get paid for?...

Already today in three different sports we've had...

"There will be goals in this match"
- It finished 0-0.

"One thing you know is this horse definitely stays this trip"
- The horse led and faded to finish near the back, in other words, he didn't stay.

"Samit Patel is a wonderful cricketer who plays some wonderful shots and should be forcing his way back into the England side"
- Next ball he was caught skying an awful one high into the air.

Christ almighty, white sticks lads?

Southgate just said something about North Korea going all Gung Ho tonight.

Now I'm not sure where the expression comes from but for some reason I couldn't help wondering if it was the best phrase to use about Korea :lolol:

I dislike any pundits for any sport, they either speak the bloody obvious or get it so wrong its stupid........oh and they get paid vast amounts of money for doing so....:tantrum::mad:

They need more qualified sports journalists and less ex-pros.

I am not a racist but why did Patrick Viera be a pundit for the England game being French I could understand if he was either English or American but why a Frenchman in a game between England and USA. Was there not an ex English or American international available. Brad Friedel or Paul Peschsolido (sp) or similar would have been better to express American views and any number of Englishmen.
