I was thinking yesterday, car radios can automatically switch to traffic news when there's an update.

Surely someone can make a version which switches to music when "golf" or "Ryder Cup" are mentioned?!

Yes, or even the opportunity to broadcast an extra remunerative advert should be considered. Put that down as a win/win.

At least from about midday tomorrow we won’t hear any more zzzzzzzz hype about the Ryder Cup for the best part of two years.

The last three days spent changing from radio stations banging on, on repeat, in eulogising arrogant American golfers.

It never got that far. Levy pulled the plug. We had already told them that Potter NOT interested.
