FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Jarrett Oatway Reid Jones

Decided Hart will play up front, if not he will replace Jarrett in my selection.

Don't think we will play Jarrett and Jones... they are both left-sided...

On the basis that both Reid and Jarrett played last night I would be surprised if they started at Reading.

I guess we will have 5 at the back and

Jones, Lee and Oatway in midfield

Hart Oatway Jones

Five at the back and Molango and Lee or possibly Jarret upfront.

So we are choosing from

Reid and Jarrett - not fully fit
Lee, Jones, Oatway and Hart - not really good enough
Rodger and Carpenter - not at all fit
Currie and Nicholas - not signed yet
Harding, Mayo and Virgo - out of position.

ooer

Looks like we're going to have to sing our hearts out on Saturday.

I will guess we're going 5 at the back as we haven't got the big man that McGhee wanted signed yet.

So midfield of Jones, Oatway and Hart it is then.

Jarrett, Reid, Oatway, Jones

In the Argus Jarrett a few days ago said he preferred the left but would do a job on the right - I think MM may have already mentioned that he would start on the right with OGH up front.

You weren't joking?... Oh sorry. :lolol:

:lolol: It's a difficult one to call. I can't see McGhee sticking a young debutant up front on his own. It's going to be 4-4-2 or 5-3-2/3-5-2.

the 4-5-1 allows the wingers, Hart & Jarrett to join in the attack with Molango... while Oatway & Jones can sit back and Reid can wait on the edge of the box for that 25 yarder!
