Now 'one that sells beer ain't telling me much is it'? Do you want a real ale pub, a pub where the bar staff walk around in little shorts and tight tops an everyday run of the mill boozer etc etc?

Well the Trip to Jerusalem is about 10 minutes from the ground and that is meant to be the oldest pub in Nottingham etc etc. After the Forest game we ended up in the Magpie between the 2 grounds and that seemed OK. To be honest Nottingham is full of pubs so you should not struggle. Just seems that most times we have been there we have drunk so much I cannot remember most of them....

Sorry, didn't mean to be sarcastic. Just meant all we want is a normal pub but preferably THE one that will be taken over by the Albion faithful as usually there is a favoured pub near every away ground in the country that's a gathering place for the away fans

Hooters sounds great but more in keeping for the evening after the game - lunchtime b4 the game requires a more run-of-the-mill establishment near the ground

Not many of the pubs near the ground like letting away fans in. I'd park up somewhere and just have a walk. By the looks of things Hooters will be full of albion but i haven't heard where everyone else is going.

The food in Hooters is pricey but pretty tasty.

Fair enough - maybe Hooters is worth a try then as its unlikely we'll be staying on after the game.
Can you tell me where it is and whether its walking distance from the ground?
Is the beer pricey as well in a place like that (in other words do you pay thru the nose for the scenery?)

Hooters is about 5/10 minutes walk from the ground, I'll find a helpful map, hang on.....

Beer is a tad pricey but not extortionate and if you get tw pint jugs you'll end up with about 2 1/2 pints anyway. To an extent you are paying for the view but it's all good. Nottingham isn't raelly that cheap anyway.

The arrow points to Hooters
