Very pleasing, this. I hate Bolton. Tin pot outfit who long outlasted their welcome at the top table. I hope they f*** off down to league one where they belong.

And Burnley fans must be chuckling heartily at all of this.

In response to the original question, not a chance.

Gary Megson to make a phenomenal return? That would be popular.

Steve Kean?
Sean DYCHE?
Alex Mcleish??

Maybe this would have been a consideration a few years ago but can you really see him leaving now we have come this far and have just had the green light for the academy to be built.
Poyet will only leave for a top club, I personally dont think he is ready for the step up quite yet anyway

Brighton factually.....
Why would Gus leave a team he is in the process of putting together with a realastic chance of getting promotion in the next few years and a spanking new stadium, & academy on the way with a chairman who appears to be backing him in the sunny south...... & move to a cold desolate, depressing northern town to a team on the slide.

None starter.....

They should give it to a management duo of Jay Jay Okocha and Ivan Campo.

I think the Bolton chairman is deluding himself if he thinks they are going straight back up (which is behind this sacking).

Too many good teams with ambitions of promotion to take anything for granted. Going to be harder than ever to get automatic this season IMHO.
