The Seagulls boss has ended two days of suspense by confirming he will stay at The Amex.
Reading reportedly wanted to hand Poyet a short cut to the Premier League and the promise of a large transfer budget this summer in the likely event of them going down.
But he is pledging his allegiance to Albion and their push for the play-offs.
