Gus Poyet will revamp his squad during the January transfer window after admitting Albion have fallen short during the first half of the season.

* The manager says performances have not translated into points so far and wants movement in and out in the New Year to change draws into victories.

* The Seagulls are now officially the draw specialists of the Championship following Tuesday night's 2-2 comeback against Millwall at The Amex.

* The halfway game of their campaign produced their tenth stalemate, one more than Nottingham Forest.

* They have better players, especially at the back, but are only marginally better off than at the same stage last season, both in terms of points and position.

* Poyet, delivering his mid-term report to The Argus, said: "We have done things to a level that have put us in a situation where we should be in a better situation in the league. It's not one game or two, we have already played more than 20.

* "It's no more a coincidence, that's where we are. We need to move the squad, we need to make a few changes.

* "Performance wise we have been much, much* better than last year, I have no doubt about that.
* "We have been better over 90 minutes than a big number of the teams we have played against. We've had two quite bad games (Blackpool and Millwall) and in those two games we got a point, which confirms football is not about what you deserve.

* "The idea in the second part of the season is to turn those performances into victories and at the moment, because we are at halfway, I don't think it's a matter of doing it with the players that we have got right now. We need to change."
