By the seaside in West Somerset
fataddick is pretty happy with it and rightly so IMO. Should be a good appointment without breaking the bank.
Novice status hopefully means it will take him a few weeks to find his feet and that will be enough to ensure they are only chasing the play-offs leaving an automatic place to us :)

Can't be arsed opening the link but it's great news if it is Chris Powell. There aren't enough IC3 managers in English football and CP seems like a decent sort with his head properly screwed on.

Refreshing that both Palace and Charlton have gone for 'inside' men, and yes you could say it's a cheap option, but so much better than the usual tedious merry-go-round of Sam Alladyce, Pardew, Mark Mcghee and their ilk, who slowly work their way round every club in the UK.

Would be very happy to see Charlton finish second (behind us) with Powell at the helm, with Eccleton from Liverpool and a bit of stability they could come into the reckoning.

very down to earth and humble man. Improved enormously as a player from his Southend days and was well worth his few England caps by the end. Has served an apprenticeship at leicester and good luck, though not too much, to him.
