I think today we will hear that the Falmer Application has been passed to the office of national lies ( you know the one that advised Blair on Iraq).

It transpires that they want a further three years to convert the whole document into Comic Sans type face.

Dick Knight is unavailable for comment as he is currently looking at his colouring book trying to tell the difference between Argentina Blue and Albion blue. Seemly he has one of those colouring books that you put water on it and it "magically" changes colour.

It was announced a few months back. At the end of one of the Argus' match reports but I suppose everyone missed it because nobody bothers to read them. It'll be half built by now.

In an effort for the Labour Party to please everyone they will be announcing two decisions: one a YES, and one a NO.

They will then start a new public enquiry to decide which of the two decisions is correct.

The official designated pronounciation is

FOW (as in Ow with an F in front)

MAA (like the noise a sheep makes but with a M)

You're all wrong.
The Decision will be decided by a game of Round the Clock darts, to be played at Whitehall this Sunday night. Representing YES will be the Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott. Representing NO will be the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs secretary Margaret Beckett.

They have to go round the dartboard 1 to 20 and finish with a Bull, best of 3 games wins. Beckett is quite useful, but Prescott is clear favourite. He has the natural build of a seasoned darts pro, and will drink Beckett under the table as the match unfolds. Tickets are still available from the Parliament Public Gallery box office. Book now to avoid disappointment.

I heard a cleaner on the 7.33 Brighton to London Bridge service tell a passenger that the announcement would be during the Labour Party Conference.... supposedly.

A watertight source I say.

Yeah, but Beckett is one shit-hot pool bitch.

The announcement will be made in the form of Dick Knight ad Martin Perry joyriding on a bulldozer each round the duck pond in Falmer village, carrying a Stadium Yes banner between them, rounding up the NIMBYs to drag them into said pond, shouting war-like slogans, such as "AONB, my arse", and "bats? I've shat 'em"

I have it on good authority that the Falmer decision was made on 23 April 2004 and passed to Dick Knight and Martin Perry on 27 April 2004 .... think it must have slipped their minds to tell anybody
