POLL - Safe Standing or Alcohol at Grounds

So North of the border the SFA are set to allow Safe Standing areas to be installed at grounds. However in Scotland you can't have a drink anywhere inside a sports ground, so maybe there is choice to be had.

One or the other. Standing or Beer.

I don't think I could hande a dry stadium, I love meeting up in the concourses with mates and having a pint of Harveys. Plus I LOVE our padded seats.

But at away games(like HKFC says) we stand anyway.

Safe standing a definite yes, but no to beer at seats. Many people don';t want this, and don't want others coming and going past them all day to get beer/empty bladders.

But allow beer to be served in concourses so there's not the stupid mad rush to drink as much as possible before the the 15-minute before kick-off cutoff, which makes people get more drunk.

Don't hold your breath for safe standing, certainly not in the top two or three divisions. There's no way any serious polititian would agree to this. The'yd all be petrified of what would happen if there was a problem.

Would have standing back definitely. Can drink before and after a game and I can cope without one for a few hours in between
