At Plymouth Fanfest yesterday was talking to some Plymouth fans who thought it would be a great idea if a friendly between the clubs could be arranged.
What are your view/thoughts?
Would enough of us be up for it? and if it is something worth pursuing, how would we go about it?
Plymouth fans are a great bunch and think our club is brilliant and are so grateful for our support. Apparently we are most Plymouth's fans second fav club!

The less said about the game the better, but the fansfest was brilliant,i was full of tribute and watched most of the game with one eye closed, unfortunately plymouth will struggle if they do not play better than that especially at home, they have some important games coming up, Dagenham were like a hackney marshes side and plymouth should have won. But there fans were great yesterday. A friendly would be good.

With all due respect to Plymouth Argyle (and there's a hell of a lot of respect due to them), I suspect that Gus might be planning more challenging pre-season games this coming summer.

Yes the Tribute did me as well only 2pints but I was dying for a 'piss' half way through 1st half and couldn't concentrate on the game! Half time was such a relief!! Very poor game until last 10mins when Plymouth hit the woodwork twice! reminds of when we were struggling in that division, they are not pretty games!

Sorry LB, i disagree, not all friendlies are tricky and against big clubs, the relationship between the fans is something else , good gate so money for Plymouth, lots of albion fans in devon and Cornwall who do not get to see many games thesedays, and a cracking time out in plymouth or southwest, some may even be on holiday down here.

I know the game some of you are referring to was a Fans Utd event, but generally Home Park used to be one of the least pleasant away days.

Agree, if Plymouth are succesful again those idiots will return but they are absent at the moment but they showed up for the exeter match last season and it was bad.

I am not sure people would go to a friendly at Home Park.

Most of us have been before and we would hardly be a draw for the Argyle fans, oh and Plymouth is a rat hole.

How long did you live in plymouth to make that comment. I thought similar when i first moved here but it is a good city in a fabulous region. I would be very reluctant to move back for many reasons.

Never lived, just visits over the years, due to the Albion generally being in the same league as Argyle.

It is another of those towns (Coventry, Southampton etc) that were rearranged by the Luftwaffe town planners and the results are not great.

I would love a pre-season game in Plymouth, really enjoyed my trip down earlier this season for the macclesfield game and having lived in Torquay it would be nice to have an excuse to go down again to visit, plus the plymouth fans are pleasent and it might help them out a bit. Devon is a lovely place to live and i would certainly say that Torquay, Paignton, Plymouth and Teignmouth are the best 4 places to live in that region!!

Again i agree. A mixture of good, bad and ugly. I took me some time to get the hang of it and the janners, but overall i like it,if i was offered the opportunity to move to st ives or salcombe, would i go, yes, deffo.
